NFL’s Negativity Towards Positive Tests Shows Being Positive About Negatives Can Allow for Lower Positivity

Only a few weeks into the 2020-2021 NFL Season, positive tests have negatively affected the positivity surrounding the football season. Many health officials were positive that the NFL would see positive tests, and as the season has progressed, the negatives that come back are positive and the positives are certainly negative. The main focus for the NFL is to have a low positivity rate, and if they can stay positive regarding the negatives they've faced, there will be a lot more to be positive about rather than negative. With some teams already negatively affected by positives, the NFL is trying to be more positive about the negatives so that the league's positivity rate will be negated.
